Well, so much changes in just a week. Cal is moving really quickly now...he's gone. No longer can we leave him for even a minute without him making his way somewhere. And, he's even pulling himself up to a standing position. This kiddo wants to walk! We are in trouble now. I promise to get some footage of him moving on here soon (I just need time).
Our house listed last Thursday, and by Saturday night it was sold! We didn't expect it to happen so quickly- but with the tax credit, people were aggressive. So now we are overtime trying to find our new home. But, I think we found it. It's in Gardner in Megan Valley- so it's by Celebration Park and Pioneer Ridge. After looking in Olathe, Spring Hill, and Paola we decided we really like Gardner- the community, our friends, the school district and it's just our home. We are hoping to make an offer this week. Fingers crossed everyone! Otherwise, we may be staying with one of you in the near future=) We are in for a super busy next couple of months.
Carson's statewide jr. guitar/singing competition is April 24th at 1:00 in DeSoto. If anyone wants to come, let us know and we can provide more detailed info.

Let's try this blogging out!
Hi everyone!
We thought since there is so much going on with us that we would start a blog to keep everyone up to date. This past month has just been crazy for all 4 of us! Here's what's going on:
Jeff and Christy: We are putting our house up for sale- it will officially be listed on 3/18. So, we have been so busy trying to finish little house projects to get it ready. We haven't really started looking for our new home yet, but we are so excited about moving and having a little more space. We seem to be busting out at the seems! Jeff has also been busy coaching Carson's baseball team- the Gardner Grizzlies. It's their first year of competitive baseball!
Carson: He is keeping busy with baseball, guitar, and school. Last weekend, he was in the KC Math competition. He was selected with 2 other kids from his school to enter It's 4-8th graders, and it was 3 tests (Algebra, Geometry, and Numbersense). He placed 19th, which was good considering he hasn't learned most of it=) He is working hard on his guitar- he is entering a statewide guitar/ singing competition in April. He has been practicing really hard to prepare for it.
Cal: Christopher Alton has been growing and changing a lot! He got his first tooth on 2/25 and last week he officially started crawling. Yes, he's on the move. He can get across the room (although still very slow). I guess it's time for us to get the baby proofing done. He's really developing a personality now, and loves to play peekaboo, watch basketball (Go Jayhawks), and move as much as possible.
Love to all! Hope you enjoy our new blog. I will try to figure out how to better post things soon=)
