Happy Father's Day! We had a great Father's Day- celebrating Jeff and the dads in our lives. My dad stopped by on his way to Chicago on Thursday and got to see Carson's baseball game. Go Grizzlies! Then, Sunday we started the celebration early (thanks to Cal)- with a wake up at 6 am. The boys and I made Jeff breakfast in bed, and gave him his gifts and cards. Cal gave him a tie with his footprints painted on (which Jeff happily wore to church haha), Carson gave him a handmade plate from The Dolphin Song, which he picked out and paid for with his money. And, all of us got him a Nautilus home gym. He has done a fabulous job of dropping almost 30 lbs, so we want him to keep looking so fantastic=) Jeff's dad and sisters Lindsay and Annie came over for dinner. And, Cal got up to 7 steps! It was a great day.
I think Father's Day is the appropriate time to brag. I really am so blessed to have such an amazing husband and friend in Jeff. He is such a wonderful father and provider for our family. He loves me and our two boys so much and would do anything for us. I look at the countless hours he's spent at sports practices and games (both coaching and spectating), all the times he goes to the store and magically brings a toy back with him, all the hugs and "I love yous", and so many other little things he does daily....he is such a special man. We love you and appreciate you, Jeff!

School's Out, Summer Fun!
Sorry I have been bad about posting anything! But, summer has begun! School finishe
d on May 28th. Cal and I went to Carson's 4th grade awards ceremony and final walk through elementary school. I must admit, I was emotional about the whole thing and got a little teary eyed. I can't believe we have a middle schooler! He has just grown up so fast. I am so proud of him. He wound up getting a lot of awards, including math, reading, and science. He was most proud of getting perfect attendance again this year. Here's a photo of Carson on the final day of elementary school.

Now that it's summer, we have been busy with barbeques, baseball, and swimming. Cal loves the pool- both his baby pool and the big pool. Here are some in his little baby pool. The last one is him with our goddaughter, Lexi (Ross and Amy Schweer's baby). Then, a couple of him having some splash fun.

Cal has really been on the move. He will take his walker from one end of the house to the other, and is now up to 2 steps unassisted at a time. I think he'll be walking in another week or two at this rate. Hard to believe he is 10 months old already. Where does the time go? The boys are such a blessing, and we are enjoying every moment. Here's a few other recent pics that I just love! The first two are the final days in our old house. Then, Grandma A stopped by on Memorial Day to see our new house. And, the final is just Cal being a monkey- he likes to climb in between the chairs. Enjoy!
