Here is a picture of the boys on Easter. Don't you love their matching outfits=) We started the morning with baskets and an egg hunt- which Cal had no interest in at all. He loved his stuffed rabbit that he got, though. Carson found all the eggs in less than 5 minutes, of course. Carson's basket was filled with lots of candy and a new Percy Jackson book, which he finished that same day. He has been really into Greek mythology and the Gods- he has read a whole series on it. Whatever keeps him reading, right? Then, we went to church and to visit the family- where Carson got even more candy=) It was a great day.

So, most of you know, we bought a house in Megan Valley in Gardner. It is still under construction, so we have been in a constant panic trying to get everything done and installed, so we can close on it by April 29th. Moving day is quickly approaching and we have to be out of our house May 1st. So, it's been crazy packing and more packing. I can't believe we have so much stuff! We're slowly getting there, it is kind of sad to pack up our home. But, we are excited about making this new house our home.
We had a great weekend of baseball. Jeff's team, the Gardner Grizzlies went to their first tournament to warm up for the upcoming season. There were teams from all over, and the competition was stiff. The team did good and improved at each game (they played 3 total). Coach did a wonderful job of keeping the team positive and having fun. We also took the boys to the Royals game, so Cal went to his very first baseball game. He loved it! He was so interested in all the sounds and the giant tv and fountains, he had a great time. We took him up to the kiddie area and let him play and he got a Royals hat and a "My First Royals Game" certificate. Too bad they lost!
Just a reminder for everyone- Carson's state jr guitar competition is April 24th in Desoto. I'll have the address and directions on Thursday after his lesson. He has been practicing a lot!
Love the picture! Good luck to Carson at his guitar competition. We'll be in Baltimore that weekend so we won't get to see him, but we'll be thinking of him!
